ABOUT US

With a foundation in healthcare innovation and excellence in clinical practice management, we partner with world-renowned fertility specialists to guide intended parents from around the world, including those facing medical challenges and members of the LGBTQ community, on their path to parenthood.
We believe that every journey to parenthood is unique and deserves personalized care. Our agency goes beyond matching intended parents with gestational carriers, egg donors, and sperm donors—we provide comprehensive support, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering advocacy at every stage.
By understanding and addressing the needs of all parties in the process, we create a supportive environment where intended parents, surrogates, and donors feel respected, informed, and empowered. Our mission is to make the dream of parenthood attainable while fostering meaningful relationships and delivering exceptional care, every step of the way.

FOR GESTATIONAL CARRIER
At the core of our surrogacy program is a deep appreciation for the personal and profound commitment made by our gestational carriers (aka surrogates). In recognition of their generosity, we provide a highly competitive compensation package, typically ranging from $60,000 to $100,000. This package is thoughtfully tailored to reflect each surrogate’s prior experience, location, and the unique requirements of her journey. For several extraordinary repeat surrogates, we have successfully secured compensation exceeding $100,000, while also safeguarding smooth medical coordination that often leads to successful transfers on the very first attempt.
Our commitment to our surrogates goes far beyond financial compensation. We offer comprehensive support and resources—medical, emotional, and logistical—so that every surrogate feels cared for, respected, and empowered throughout the process. By joining our program, you are embarking on a meaningful journey that brings immeasurable joy to families while being fairly rewarded for your invaluable role in creating new life.
If you are ready to begin this extraordinary journey, we invite you to start by completing Gestational Carrier Application.
Gestational Carrier Application Acceptance Criteria
To be considered for our gestational carrier program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
-
US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, or US Visa Holders: We can accept candidates into the gestational surrogacy program who are legally in the United States. This includes US citizens, US permanent residents, and individuals with a legal US visa/permit that ensures their stay can extend to the postpartum period of gestational surrogacy.
-
Age Requirement: Be a female between the ages of 21 to 39.
-
Body Mass Index (BMI): Have a BMI between 18 and 33. Calculate Your Body Mass Index.
-
Pregnancy History: Have had all previous births occurring at 37 weeks or later (unless it was a multiple pregnancy); for any complications experienced in prior pregnancies and/or deliveries, please refer to the Complication Checklist to determine which conditions we can accept for Gestational Carriers.
-
Non-Smoking/Vaping and No Drug Use Policy: Be a non-smoker and non-drug user, and maintain a household free of smoke, vape, and drugs. Even if your husband or co-residents are smokers or vapers, they must do so at a distance and ensure the household remains smoke/vape-free.

Additionally, commit to following medication protocols for the embryo transfer and adhering to obstetrical guidance throughout the pregnancy.

-
Psychological Evaluation: Be willing to undergo a psychological evaluation to assess readiness and suitability for the surrogacy journey.
Please review Surrogate Benefit Package for more information regarding the compensation.
STEP 1 - Surrogate Benefits, Application & Interview
After carefully reviewing the above Gestational Carrier Application Acceptance Criteria, candidates who believe they meet the standards are encouraged to contact us to discuss the Surrogate Benefit Package. This conversation is crucial in providing a full understanding of the compensation involved. Once there is a mutual agreement on the terms, candidates should submit their Gestational Carrier Application.
Upon receipt of the completed form, our team will evaluate the candidate's suitability for our surrogacy program. Candidates who successfully meet our criteria will then be invited for a personal interview to further discuss the process and expectations. Following a positive interview outcome, we will perform a background check to ensure the safety and integrity of our surrogacy journey. Each of these steps is essential in maintaining the high standards of our program and providing a clear path forward for all parties involved.
STEP 2 - Collect Medical Records and Initial Assessment
After verifying that you align with our "Gestational Carrier Application Acceptance Criteria," the next step is to compile and submit all relevant medical records for our review. We understand that accessing medical records can sometimes be challenging. If you're unable to download your records via healthcare apps or hospital portals, we are here to help.
Please provide us with a signed Medical Records Release Form, and we will assist you in obtaining these documents. A thorough initial assessment of your medical history, including records of prior pregnancies, deliveries, and any Pap/Cytology reports from the past three years, will then be conducted by our medical team or a third-party licensed OB-GYN. This crucial step helps ensure your suitability for the surrogacy program and sets the foundation for a successful partnership.
STEP 3 - Match and Medical Clearance
Throughout our surrogacy matching process, we focus on aligning the personal preferences and specific concerns of both the surrogates and intended parents. Our commitment is to create matches that are not just harmonious but also deeply heartfelt. After identifying a potential match, we organize a meeting between the surrogate and the intended parents, which can be conducted in-person or virtually. This step is crucial for establishing a genuine connection and allowing both parties to build a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
Following this meeting, the surrogate's medical records are submitted to the IVF clinic for an official review. All costs of review, costs of surrogate's travel and medical screening are paid by the intended parents. Should the surrogate's health records meet the necessary criteria, the next step involves visiting the clinic for a comprehensive set of tests. These include blood tests, uterine assessments, and sonography. It's also necessary for the surrogate's partner to undergo blood testing for infectious diseases at a local diagnostic center. These precautionary health screenings are essential to confirm the safety and readiness of the surrogate before proceeding with the embryo transfer. A final clearance from the fertility clinic, which includes a letter affirming the surrogate's eligibility, will mark her readiness to commence with the surrogacy process.
STEP 4 - Legal Clearance, Contract and Escrow
Following the receipt of a medical clearance letter from the IVF clinic, we proceed to the legal clearance and contract phase of the surrogacy journey. In this phase, an attorney retained by the intended parents will draft the gestational surrogacy agreement (GSA), incorporating the Surrogate Compensation Package previously negotiated in Step 1. California law mandates that you have your own legal representation, whose fees will be covered by the intended parents. We will assist in connecting you with a reputable attorney specializing in surrogacy law to ensure that you fully understand and are comfortable with the terms of the contract.
After the successful drafting and signing of the contract, with notarization to formalize the agreement, our agency will establish an escrow account. This account is crucial for managing the financial aspects of the surrogacy arrangement. The intended parents are required to wire all necessary funds to this escrow account in advance. The purpose of the escrow account is to guarantee that all financial obligations are met and managed responsibly, providing financial security and peace of mind for both you as the surrogate and the intended parents throughout the surrogacy journey.
STEP 5 - Embyro Transfer, Pregnancy and Delivery
Our commitment to ensuring a smooth and supportive surrogacy journey is reflected in our comprehensive planning approach. We begin with a carefully structured calendar that highlights all key milestones. The IVF clinic’s medical team plays a central role in this process, providing detailed instructions and ongoing guidance for the medication regimen leading up to and following the embryo transfer, so you feel informed and supported every step of the way.
Approximately nine days after the embryo transfer, the first important step is a blood test to detect early signs of conception. If this initial test is positive, we will schedule follow-up testing around day 11 post-transfer to confirm that the beta hCG is appropriately doubling. Subsequent ultrasounds will then be arranged to confirm the fetal heartbeat around days 24–26 post-transfer, followed by weekly early OB ultrasounds through the 10th week of gestation to closely monitor the pregnancy’s progress. During this period, the IVF medical team will ensure that your medications are shipped directly to your home. We will also coordinate your monitoring appointments at a local IVF clinic, or through LinkMed in-home services if you are in California, depending on your location and convenience.
Once the IVF clinic confirms a stable and healthy pregnancy, typically between 10–12 weeks of gestation, you will “graduate” and transition into the care of your chosen OB-GYN. This important milestone allows you to receive personalized care in a familiar and comfortable setting. Our agency will coordinate your medical insurance and help you establish care with the appropriate providers, including your primary care physician, OB-GYN, high-risk OB if needed, delivery hospital, and even urgent care resources, ensuring that every aspect of your care is seamlessly managed.
STEP 6 - Legal & Financial Support, and Postpartum Care
Throughout your pregnancy, you will be surrounded by a strong network of care and support. Each surrogate is paired with a dedicated case manager who will be your constant guide and advocate—ready to answer questions, assist with unique situations, and ensure you feel supported at every step. Our commitment extends beyond physical health to your emotional well-being, with regular wellness checks, access to professional counseling, and opportunities to connect with supportive surrogate communities.
In tandem with this care, our management team coordinates directly with your attorneys, medical providers, insurance companies, delivery hospitals, and escrow managers to ensure every aspect of your journey runs seamlessly. One thing our surrogates never need to worry about is money—we ensure all financial deposits from intended parents are securely in place before your journey begins. In the unlikely event of a default—which has never occurred in our practice history since 2019—our agency guarantees full coverage of all agreed-upon compensation and financial obligations. We will never place our surrogates at financial risk. Compensation is disbursed from the escrow account in accordance with the terms of your Gestational Surrogacy Agreement (GSA), managed with meticulous care by both the escrow team and our agency.
We also ensure that surrogate-friendly medical insurance remains active through three months postpartum—or longer, if outlined in your GSA in the event of complications—providing peace of mind about healthcare coverage after delivery. In addition, we provide a comprehensive postpartum support package with products and services designed to aid in your recovery. Our goal is to help you heal comfortably, regain your strength, and return to feeling like your best self. At California NuLife, we truly believe that your health is our health.
After the initial six months of postpartum recovery, if you wish to rejoin our gestational carrier pool, the process is simple and requires no additional paperwork. We deeply value the remarkable contribution you have made and remain committed to providing resources, education, and ongoing support for your future surrogacy journeys.

STEP 1 - Candidate Selection
Your path to parenthood starts with selecting a gestational carrier from our rigorously pre-screened group. Each candidate undergoes thorough background checks, personal interviews, psychological assessments, and a detailed review of their medical history. This ensures you are matched with a carrier who is not only in excellent health but also deeply committed to your surrogacy journey.
STEP 2 - Contracting Phase
It's essential for both you, the intended parents, and your gestational carrier to have independent legal counsel. This ensures that the agreements detailing your mutual expectations and responsibilities are crafted with care and precision. We're here to connect you with skilled attorneys who specialize in surrogacy law, ensuring your journey is navigated with expertise and peace of mind.
STEP 3 - Escrow Account
As part of the surrogacy arrangement, upon finalizing your agreement with the gestational carrier, you'll be asked to place the agreed-upon funds into a secure escrow account. This account, professionally managed by our team, ensures that all contractually-covered expenses are handled efficiently. Rest assured, any remaining balance after the fulfillment of these expenses will be promptly returned to you, maintaining financial transparency and integrity throughout your surrogacy journey.

STEP 4 - IVF Embryo Transfer
After finalizing the legal agreements and establishing the necessary financial provisions, the next phase of your surrogacy path begins. The gestational carrier will commence a carefully monitored medication protocol to prepare for the embryo transfer. The IVF clinics we partner with are dedicated to meticulous care throughout this crucial stage. Once the gestational carrier reaches 9-12 weeks of pregnancy, she will smoothly transition from specialized IVF support to regular obstetric care, marking an important milestone in your journey toward parenthood.
STEP 5 - Support & Assistance
Upon successful pregnancy confirmation, we ensure round-the-clock support for both gestational carriers and intended parents. Our team will meticulously manage the escrow account, handling medical and surrogacy-related expenses in line with the agreed contract. Furthermore, we facilitate seamless coordination between the gestational carrier, intended parents, and the surrogacy attorney to ensure a smooth and supportive journey for everyone involved.
STEP 6 - After the Child's Birth
Prior to the child's arrival, the surrogacy attorney will file a pre-birth order to establish the intended parents as the legal parents. We offer comprehensive support for travel and accommodation arrangements for the intended parents. Following the birth, our team will aid in procuring the child’s birth certificate, scheduling postnatal check-ups and newborn care with trusted pediatricians, and arranging for the necessary passport and international travel documents for your new family member.
FOR EGG DONOR
At the heart of our egg donor program, we deeply value and honor the incredible commitment made by our donors. In gratitude for their extraordinary contribution, we provide a competitive compensation range of $6,000 to $20,000. This amount varies based on each donor's qualifications and previous donation experiences, reflecting the unique aspects of their donation journey.
Our commitment to egg donors extends beyond monetary aspects. We ensure a nurturing and supportive experience, offering extensive resources and care tailored to each donor’s needs. Joining our program means not only receiving deserved compensation but also playing an essential role in bringing happiness to families and contributing to the miracle of life.
